What’s on your nightstand, e-reader, or library hold list at the moment? It doesn’t have to be a Grison Press book. I’m curious about the books people are enjoying, the ones they can’t quite decide about, and the recommendations that actually lived up to the hype. Tell us the title and a little about what it’s like to read, without giving away the ending. A thoughtful recommendation is often more useful than a star rating, and a book that didn’t work for you can still be someone else’s favorite. ---

One way to make this thread especially useful as it grows is to describe the _feel_ of what you’re reading, not just the title. Is it a slow-burn mystery, a fast-paced thriller, or a character-driven story that asks you to pay close attention? That helps another reader decide whether the book belongs on their list. And if you finish something you mentioned earlier, come back and tell us whether it delivered on the promise of its opening chapters. You can keep that answer spoiler-free while still giving a useful recommendation.
